Refund & Return Policy
At Chip n Board, we strive to provide genuine, high-quality electronics, microcontrollers, development boards, and STEM products. If you experience any issue with your purchase, we’re here to help.
Please read our policy carefully before requesting a return or refund.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return if:
- The product is damaged during shipping
- You received the wrong product
- The product is defective upon arrival
- The product is unused and in its original packaging
To be eligible:
- The return request must be raised within 7 days of delivery
- The product must be unused and in its original condition
- All original packaging, manuals, and accessories must be included
- Proof of purchase (order ID or invoice) must be provided
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, the following items are not eligible for return unless defective:
- Opened ICs, chips, or semiconductor components
- Soldered, modified, or physically damaged boards
- Items damaged due to improper handling or misuse
- Clearance or final sale items
- Software or downloadable products
3. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective product:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Share clear photos or videos showing the issue
- Our team will inspect and verify the claim
If approved, we will offer:
- Replacement (preferred option), or
- Refund (if replacement is unavailable)
4. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will receive confirmation via email
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Please note:
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was from our side.
5. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was incorrect or defective.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
- Chip n Board is not responsible for lost return shipments.
6. Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled only if:
- The order has not yet been shipped
- Cancellation request is made within 12 hours of placing the order
Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.
7. Warranty (If Applicable)
Some products may include a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and brand. Please refer to individual product listings for warranty details.
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Burnt components due to incorrect voltage
- Water damage
- Improper wiring
